Chad Daybell: Guilty of First-Degree Murder

A jury in Idaho found Chad Daybell guilty of first-degree murder in the killings of his ex-wife, Tammy Daybell, and his two stepchildren, 7-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan.

The verdict concludes a nearly two-month trial in which prosecutors presented evidence that Daybell had plotted to kill his family in order to collect life insurance money and marry Lori Vallow, who was also charged in the killings.

Lori Vallow is scheduled to go on trial later this year. She has pleaded not guilty to the charges against her.
