Chad Daybell Found Guilty of First-Degree Murder

A jury in Idaho on Thursday found Chad Daybell guilty of first-degree murder in the killings in 2019 of his ex-wife Tammy Daybell and Joshua "JJ" Vallow, 7, and Tylee Ryan, 16.

The verdict concludes Daybell's nearly two-month trial in the deaths of his ex-wife and his two stepchildren. The children were last seen in September 2019, and their bodies were found buried on Daybell's property in June 2020.

Daybell's co-defendant, Lori Vallow Daybell, was found guilty of all charges related to the killings of her children in May 2023. The two were tried separately.
