Former Juventus defender Gianluca Pessotto believes the Bianconeri are facing a 'fascinating' test in this season's Champions League
Pessotto, who is now a club director at Juve, told the club's official website: "This is a fascinating Champions League campaign for us, with some very difficult but also very stimulating matches.
Juve have drawn Barcelona, Manchester City and Sporting Lisbon in Group G of the Champions League, and Pessotto believes that the Bianconeri will need to be at their best to progress to the knockout stages.
"We are facing three top teams in Europe, but we are a strong team and we have what it takes to compete with them," Pessotto said.
"We will need to be at our best in every game, but I am confident that we can qualify for the knockout stages.
Juve will begin their Champions League campaign at home to Barcelona on September 20.
