From January 23 to June 8 2024 presidential primaries and caucuses were organized by the Democratic Party to select the delegates to the 2024 Democratic National Convention. Biden became the first Democratic candidate since Bill Clinton and the third ever Democratic candidate to win the nomination without carrying either Iowa or New Hampshire.

Automatic Winner

Under state law if a political party lists only one presidential candidate that person will be declared the automatic winner of the primary and no vote will be held.
