Borja Bastón: A Footballing Journey

From Real Oviedo to CF Pachuca

A Look at the Spanish Forward's Career

Borja Bastón, the 31-year-old Spanish forward, has had an eventful career, playing for several clubs in Spain and abroad. Currently plying his trade with CF Pachuca in Mexico, Bastón's journey has seen him rise from his humble beginnings in Madrid to become one of the most respected strikers in the game.

Bastón began his professional career with Real Oviedo in 2011, where he quickly established himself as a prolific goalscorer. After three successful seasons with Oviedo, he moved to Deportivo La Coruña in 2014, where he continued to impress, scoring 10 goals in 33 appearances.

In 2016, Bastón made a big move to the Premier League, joining Swansea City. However, his time in England was not as successful as he would have hoped, and he returned to Spain after just one season. Upon his return, he joined Leganés and helped the club achieve promotion to La Liga, the Spanish top flight.

After a brief stint with Alavés, Bastón returned to Real Oviedo in 2021, where he once again became a key player for the club. In 2024, he made a surprising move to Mexico, joining CF Pachuca, where he has continued to find the back of the net regularly.

Throughout his career, Bastón has been known for his excellent heading ability, positioning, and clinical finishing. He has also proven to be a hard-working and dedicated player, always striving to improve his game. With his impressive goal-scoring record and experience at the highest level, Borja Bastón is a valuable asset to any team.
