Ben Sasse's UF Salary Details Revealed

Base Salary, Annual Raises, and Potential Bonuses

The Board of Governors over Florida's university system on Wednesday confirmed the hiring of Ben Sasse as the sole finalist for the presidency of the University of Florida. Sasse's base salary will begin at $1 million per year. If he receives the maximum annual raise for which he is eligible (4%), his salary will increase to $1,040,000 in his second year, $1,081,600 in his third year, and so on.

Additional Compensation

In addition to his base salary, Sasse will earn an additional $200,000 for each year he completes on the job. This means that after five years, his total compensation will be $1,200,000 per year. He will also be eligible for up to 15% of his base salary if he meets certain performance goals.
